1st October

  Abbey Health and Lifestyle Event

Sprint were pleased to attend the Abbey Health and Lifestyle event at their Head Office in Central Milton Keynes today. The event for their 2500 HO staff was really well organised and very enjoyable. We performed chair massage taster sessions on dozens of the Abbey team and other disciplines from hypnotherapy to Tai Chi were all on show from local and national companies. We would like to thank Gill, Dave and the rest of the Occy Health team for the invite and needless to say we would be very keen to come back in the near future to pick up where we left off.

17th August 2008

Sprint have been asked to organise the sports massage for the Bananaman 10K at Willen Lake in Milton Keynes on the 21st Septemeber. We will have a team of therapists on hand providing the usual high standard of pre and post event therapy. All profits from therapies will be donated back to the Leukaemia Research Fund. This is one race where pre booking will be essential due to the high numbers of participants.

Atlas Fitness- Wolverton, Milton Keynes

Sprint are now offering sports therapies at Atlas Fitness in Wolverton. Atlas has recently opened opposite Tesco in the town and offers a wide variety of exercise and workouts. We wish Ken and his team all the best in this new venture.

Sprint would like to thank all the clients we treated at the Beaver Triathlon events at Belvoir Castle. This was certainly our busiest event to date which saw us treat over 30 triathletes before, after and during the event. We would like to thank Alan and his team from Just Racing for inviting us along and look forward to being there next year with a larger team of therapists.

28th April

New clinic- Kingsley Health Solarium, Northampton

Sprint are now offering sports massage in partnership with the Kingsley Health Solarium in Northampton. This gives us an excellent central location in Northampton and allows us to offer a more complete service to the clients we meet at events throughout the region. We are looking forward to working with Wendy and her team. The centre also offers a massive range of health and beauty services and has what can only be described as an awesome reputation throughout the region. 

10th March 2008

We are looking forward to providing sports massage at Just Racing's full programme of summer events. This kicks off with the Duston Triathlon on the 27th April through to the Roade Triathlon on the 28th September. Their programme also includes events from Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire to the Thame Triathlon in Oxforshire. We would like to thank Managing Director Alan Rose for his continued support and wish him luck in the Ironman later this year in Nice, France.

Bedford Harriers - Oakley 20

We are pleased to have been invited by Ken Parsons from Total Body Balance in Bedford to form part of his team of therapists at the Oakley 20 mile race hosted by Bedford Harriers. This race is used by many as serious preperation for the London Marathon and sees competitors from all over England testing their endurance over the 20 mile course which has a 4 hour limit.

Sprint are forming part of a 25 strong team of therapists organised by the Institue of Sports and Remedial Massage at this years Mazda Blenhiem Triathlon in June. The team will be providing pre, post and inter event massage to the 3000 professional and amateur competitors. We are looking forward to being part of an excellent team at one of the UKs great triathlons.

26th January 2008

Sprint are looking forward to providing the sports therapy at the Hardwick X Stream near Aylesbury on the 17th February. This event hosted by Bearbrook joggers has a reputation for being muddier and wetter than any other in the region. It can not be as bad as the Wendover Multi Terrain last week, but we shall wait and see. Contact us to book a treatment and avoid the rush on the day.

Sprint our pleased to announce they are providing the event sports therapy at the Nike Milton Keynes Half Marathon on 2nd March. We will have a team of therapists on hand to provide pre and post event treatments to the 2500 expeceted runners. We will also provide treatments to spectators whilst the race is in progress. Contact us to book a treatment and avoid the rush on the day.

Sprint will be offering pre and post event treatments at the following events hosted by Just Racing- The Bannatynes Health Club Wellingborough Multi-Terrain Series 1,2,3 on the 13th January, 3rd February and 24th February respectively. 28th November 2007- Chamber of Commerce

Sprint submitted their application for membership of the North Bucks and Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce. We are now totally committed to offering commercial services to the business community within MK and beyond. We look forward to working with individuals and business in promoting postural awareness and performing treatments in the workplace.

18th November 2007- National Sports First Aid Course

This weekend saw us complete the Hampden Park- National Sports First Aid course. This is the only nationally recognised sports first aid course in the UK and is validated by The Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine (UK). It is also endorsed by the The Minister for Sport, UK Athletics, The Scottish Rugby Union, The British Paralympic Association, The National Council for School Sport, The National Confederation of Parent Teacher Associations as well as a number of governing bodies of sport.

29th October 2007- Plantronics Partner Programme

Sprint Healthy Computing have completed the Plantronics Partner Connect Programme. This is Plantronics' training programme enabling resellers such us as to offer professional and relevant advice regarding the selection of their products. 1st September 2007- Horn Street Clinic

30th June 2007- World Tae Kwon Do

In recognition of the outstanding skills obtained in sports massage PTS Grads Mike Grice, Lis Stirling and Ken Pasons were invited to attend the World Tae Kwondo Championships in Birmingham's National Indoor Arena.

May 2007- Winslow RUFC

 

Winslow RUFC have now ended yet another great season performing well in the Bucks, Berks and Oxon league. Training will continue throughout the summer and they will be attending the Olney 7's. Sprint will be offering Sports Massage to the team throughout the summer.
